The Amstel Hotel holds 79 rooms of which 24 are suites, including the Royal Suite. Room rates vary from € 625,- for an Executive Square View room to € 910,- for a larger and more luxurious Executive Suite with river view to €4250 for the Royal Suite. This classical French designed apartment with its elegant entrance hall way leading to the lounge, dining room for eight persons, kitchenette and bedroom is ideal as a bridal suite. To add to the luxury the Royal Suite has a bathroom with taps of 14 carat gold. The apartment can be connected to an extra bedroom and has a breathtaking view over the Amstel River and riverside houses of Amsterdam.

All 79 rooms and suites evoke an atmosphere of elegance and grandeur; ideal for a business or pleasure stay. Spacious, high ceilings, elegantly decorated with antiques and Lodewijk XV- en XVI-style furniture. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a room entertainment system with satellite TV, Pay TV, CD/ DVD player, sound bar and I-Pod docking station. All rooms and public areas have Wireless Internet Access. The spacious marble bathrooms have separate baths from the showers with specially designed shower heads with the relaxing effect of a natural waterfall.

Today, hotel guests and local members are able to invigorate the body and revive the spirit at the newly renovated (July 2012) and fully equipped Amstel Health & Fitness Club; state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment including the Power Plate, a heated pool and sparkling Jacuzzi on the Amstel river’s edge, sauna, Turkish steam bath and an unforgettable shower experience with the Horizontal Shower and RainSky. Daily aquarobics classes are conducted and massages can be booked by appointment.
